Pre-School Gymnastics

For children ages 2-5, we offer 50-minute long classes that introduces elementary gymnastics skills in a fun way that exposes them to learning through play and imagination. Parents do not participate in this class, but are welcome to observe from the parent observation area. We are very concerned about safety and stress simple rules concerning child safety. Children will learn skills on each apparatus (bars, beam, floor, trampoline, and vault). Skills that are taught include: forward/backward rolls, balancing on the beam, cartwheels, body control, and trampoline skills. We also incorporate fun games to help motor development and improve strength for your child.

Basic Gymnastics

For children age 5 and up, we offer an hour long classes that introduces basic gymnastics skills.  Parents are welcome to observe their children from the parent observation area. Children will learn skills on each apparatus (bars, beam, floor, trampoline, and vault) that will help prepare them to be on our pre-team. Some of the skills that are taught include: handstands, cartwheels, arabesque (on beam), pull overs, and jumps (on trampoline and floor).  Once the gymnasts master the skills taught in basic class, the coach/owners will talk to parents about moving their child up to the hot shots class or pre-team level. Our goal is to create a fun learning experience for your child.

Pre-Team

Pre Team is a great way for kids to be introduced to our competition team. Students will learn the skills and compulsory routines for level 3. They will work on perfecting their skills and routines so that they will be able to move up to our competition team. We have two mock meets each year at our gym that our pre-teamers can gain valuable competition experience before going to an actual competition.  Their routines will be performed in front of judges, receive a score and be awarded a participation medal. Pre team is an excellent way for children to enjoy learning more advanced skills and routines, without having to commit to the cost and time investment required by a full competitive season.

Tumbling

Tumbling class focuses it's training on floor gymnastic skills. It is our goal in this hour long class to safely teach new tumbling skills while improving existing skills. We teach all levels of tumbling in this class from basic skills such as: handstands, roundoffs, and back walkovers to back handsprings, back tucks and layouts. We use the trampoline and mats to help our students learn new skills in stages.  By breaking the skills down into stages it helps give motivate and give our students confidence in learning skills. This class is great for cheerleaders, recreational gymnasts/tumblers, and adults.

We are also able to schedule private tumbling classes for school cheer teams interested in learning how to tumble.
